Jason Hunt, Tiro's founder, is a service-disabled veteran with over 20 years’ experience in talent acquisition. He left a $6 billion international trading company to work at a startup staffing firm in 2001. Over the next 7 years he helped build that 3-person start-up into a multi-state 23-person operation supporting national recruiting across industry. After 10 years of recruiting, selling and managing staffing offices, he spent the next 8 years supporting Fortune 1000 companies providing recruiting tools and supporting mass and strategic hiring initiatives alike for Fortune 1000 organizations for Monster.com, Gartner and Indeed.com.
Having been trained in selling processes that target executives and mid-management alike, Jason recognized that in a market gripped in a supply shortage, this selling skill directly translates into recruiting. Recruiting has become a sales activity to differentiate job opportunities for top candidates. Job seeking is highly personal to candidates and to be successful in recruiting the best, one must be able to understand both the career and personal goals of each candidate, which is the core of his recruiting process. It must be a match for both candidates and employers.
As a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Tiro offers the ability to support clients’ supplier diversity requirements in addition to providing top talent. Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business is one of the 3 core set-asides identified by the federal government.
Realizing that given the candidate-driven market, some recruiting firms have raised their rates compounding the cost on already strained budgets. As such, Tiro maintains a very lean cost structure and is among the most affordable in the industry. To add value, Tiro has also developed custom terms that are not only affordable, but also help cash-flow and lower risk for its clients.
At Tiro, we do not take on every company’s recruiting needs. Just as in recruiting itself, there must be a match. We work with client organizations who value communication and engagement as core needs to our relationship so that we may deliver the highest value, quality and the greatest ROI.
Our core values are Quality, Diversity, and Cost Effectiveness. Where will you find your next Tiro?
